Britons seek STI treatments from online vendors

by - source: Tom's Hardware UK

The University of East Anglia released the results of a study, which show an increase in the amount of Britons seeking treatment for STIs online.

Apparently, rather than going to their doctor for any erm, southerly problems they might, have most British people would rather google the infection and buy various at-home treatments over the web.

With just under a quarter of vendors listing the potential side effects if the drugs they’re dispensing and less than a quarter advising patients on how to avoid re-infection, dangers for pregnant women or how to avoid transmission it’s no wonder medical experts are questioning online vendors.

Realistically, you’re doing yourself no favours by slapping on any number of creams you’ve gotten on gone-orrhea.com. Remember, there’s a reason doctors have the piece of paper hanging on the wall and they’ve seen it all before. And if you can’t remember that, remember this, syphilis is forever, not just for one night stands.
