Resident Evil 5 PC Specs
Capcom released the minimum and recommended system requirements for the upcoming PC version of Resident Evil 5
A few weeks ago, Capcom announced that the PC version of Resident Evil 5 will hit retail shelves on September 15 in North America, and September 18 in Europe. The new version will include a new and improved mercenaries mode with "three times as many" enemies, new costumes, and Nvidia's GeForce 3D Vision technology (wireless 3D Vision glasses sold separately). To promote the game's 3D goodness, Nvidia uploaded a stereo 3D tech demo (with benchmark) right here.
Today, however, CVG managed to gain access to the system requirements, listed below, showing both minimum and recommended:

so no Windows 7, or windows 2000 (essentailly XP) which indicates seriously sloppy programming, not suprising considering its a console port
If it runs on Vista it will probably also run on Windows 7. If not, then Im sure they will fix that once Windows 7 hits the stores. And for Windows 2000, I doubt that many gamers with a high-end gaming rig still run windows 2000.

... I totally agree - why would anyone cripple the whole game experience by using something completely inadequate for FPS?
I don't know if u guys are familiar with the controls/shooting in RE but it's not like a normal shooter. You aim and then u have a red laser. While u're aiming, u stand still, u can't move. So a x360 controler wouldn't be a big disadvantage and certainly not if u've played a lot shooter games on the x360. Try RE4 for pc and u'll notice that the aiming is quite difficult in the beginning. I think it's made better in RE5 but still... don't expect too much of it. Just running and shooting isn't the case in RE, thats why it is so creepy, aiming, standing still while the zombies come after u and suround u. (and yes I know my English isn't superbe)
