Reno couple play video games, leave children to starve
Reno (NV) – A Reno couple are awaiting trial for child neglect after leaving their children to starve.
The couple’s 22-month boy and 11-month girl were found near death last month, suffering from severe malnutrition and infections. Michael and Iana Straw blame online video games, specifically Dungeons and Dragons, for their neglect.
The children are now doing well and gaining weight in foster care.
