MSI Ships 17'' GX740 with Radeon 5870, Core i7
MSI is now shipping the 17-inch GX740 packing Intel's Core i7 CPU and Radeon HD 5870 graphics.
E3 is just getting started in Los Angeles and taking advantage of all the extra attention gaming will receive over the next week, MSI has announced that its GX740 gaming notebook and desktop replacement is now shipping to customers in the United States. Aimed at power users, the GX740 boasts a 17-inch (1680x1050) display, Core i7, ATI Radeon HD 5870 (1GB of DDR5), DirectX 11 support, 4GB of DDR3, a 500GB hard drive (7200 rpm), and MSI's MSI’s Turbo Boost technology that boosts and relaxes performance when needed.
Weighing 7lbs and measuring in at 1.5-inches thick, the GX740 packs 7.1 audio out, a built-in subwoofer, HDMI, Bluetooth, a 9 cell battery and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Pricing starts at $1,399.99 the desktop replacement is shipping now from Amazon and New Egg.

wow 1400 bucks, thats a pretty good price, the only let down is the resolution but thats not that bad.
Resolution means the GPU won't have to struggle so much so it's not all bad.
I find it hilarious that they can describe any speaker that fits in a laptop as a "subwoofer"
