New Music Streaming Service, Pure Music, to Hit UK
Watch out, Spotify...
Streaming music is quickly becoming a more popular option for people who want to listen to tunes on the go or at work without having to rely on their MP3 player or phone to last the day. There's also the added plus of having access to music that don't own. Starting December, music fans in the United Kingdom will have a new option when it comes to music on demand services.
Dubbed Pure Music, the service allows users access to millions of on-demand music tracks as well as internet radio and podcasts across multiple devices for the princely sum of £4.99 per month (that's almost half of what you'd pay for Spotify Premium, in case you were keeping track). According to Electronista off-line listening is also expected at a later stage.
At the moment, Pure has got its iPhone app up and running, with an Android application on the way very soon. Pure is compatible with both PC and Mac. Check the video below for more on how the service works!

Unless I'm missing something Spotify is only £4.99 without the offline mode so its the same price unless Pure Music offer the offline mode in the £4.99 package when it comes out.

Sorry, I meant to specify that it's half the price of Spotify's premium option (£9.99). Thank you!
The other important thing is the audio quality - I pay £9.99 for spotify and the quality is great. I tried the Pure service but the audio quality is unacceptable and significantly worse than Spotify's high quality streaming option.
