NZXT's Phantom Chassis Makes Way For 7 Fans
What better way to complete a monster hardware configuration than with an awesome, well-ventilated chassis.
Wednesday NZXT revealed Phantom, a hot new chassis built for high performance cooling and easy installation. Deemed as NZXT's "most elegant and intelligent" chassis to date, the Phantom simply looks awesome, whether it's painted in robotic white, Sith-like black, or demon red.
Outside the obvious aesthetics, the Phantom's biggest selling point is likely in its cooling system. The chassis provides 7 fan cooling options: a slot for a 140-mm fan in the front, an included 120-mm fan mounted in the back, two 120-mm fans (also included) and a slot for an optional 200/230-mm mounted in the side, one LED 200-mm (included) and a slot for another optional 200-mm fan mounted on top.
If that's not enough to keep your hardware chilled, NZXT also inserted dual radiator support, quad water cooling cutouts, and an integrated fan controller with up to five 20W channels.
For the PC gamer looking to pack in loads of hardware, the new Phantom offers a vast amount of space, allowing for 7 HDDs with SSD support and up to five 5.25-inch bays. There's also support for larger heat sinks, graphics cards, and E-ATX motherboards. 5.25-inch "screwless" rails makes it easy to install and swap HDDs.
As for other features, the Phantom has an LED on/off button to control case lighting, rubber PSU and case feet to reduce vibration, easily removable front and top panels, and top mounted USB, Audio/Mic, and E-SATA ports.
Phantom will be available in early September and will retail for $139.99.

That is one sexy case.
Agreed.
A little too flashy for my taste, but sexy nonetheless.
Wow! NZXT always have made nice looking cases (used to have a Blackline) but this has to be the best yet. Really want to see the black/white versions now.
I never liked NZXT. Their case look overly flashy and don't feel as well built as those made by Antec or CM. Besides, this case isn't that great spec wise...
Does it come complete with their record-breakingly crappy customer service?
The spam is getting worse, Maybe it is time to abandon ship to the US version - perhaps the mods are better at policing that! (I recognise that mod's resources are limited and spambots are numerous so I don't blame them for spending more time on the .com version of the site)
Then they should get a member (or members) of the community to do something about it.
