Patriot Memory Brings Box Office To Your HDTV
Patriot revealed its all-in-one HD media player, The Box Office.
Looking for one simple device that can play your favorite HD movies, TV shows and Bugs Bunny cartoons? Look no further than Patriot Memory's Box Office all-in-one HD media player, ready for whatever digital goodness you can throw at it. Patriot was even nice enough to throw in an HDMI 3.1 (and composite) cable to get you hooked up right out of the box.
According to Patriot, the device can output HD video up to 1080p. The device can yank your digital media from a plethora of devices, ranging from a USB drive (a total of 3 ports), a network device, or by using the optional internal 2.5-inch hard drive. Want even faster access? Consumers can expand the device's storage space by throwing in a 2.5-inch SATA SSD.
Patriot's Box Office also provides additional features including Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound, UPnP support, and an optional 802.11g USB Wi-Fi adapter to access the media right from your PC.
Jack Chen, Patriot's Business Development Manager, even added that the Box Office is compatible for internet video streaming by using 3rd party software. "Patriot's Box Office brings the digital revolution to the home audience," he said.
Interested consumers can pre-order the Box Office here on Amazon, costing around $129.99.

Thanks for telling me - any chance of a review? or are you just running ads as stories to annoy?
HDMI 3.1 doesn't exist - it is 1.3a at the moment. I bet the DTS & Dolby Digital is pass through & not actual decoding.
