Previously PS3 exlcusive Gripshift comes to XBL
Redmond (WA) - Part of this week’s Xbox Live Arcade update may look familiar to Playstation 3 owners, as the arcade racing title Gripshift becomes one of the first cross-platform digital download games.
Gripshift is a futuristic arcade-style driving title with dozens of tracks available. It is compatible with Xbox Live for up to four player simultaneous competition.
The game is notable because it launched on the Playstation Store earlier this year and is now on the Xbox 360’s online store. It’s one of a very select few titles developed for the home console digital download platform to make the jump to another system.
Also added to the Xbox Live Arcade today is Arkadian Warriors, an action game wherein players take the role of a warrior to defeat infiltrating enemies.
Both titles are priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10), which is roughly the same price as Gripshift on the PS3.
