T-Mobile UK Apolgises for Overcharging Thousands
T-Mobile UK has apologised for overcharging thousands of its customers.
T-Mobile has said it will offer refunds to 700,000 customers that were overcharged because of a voicemail glitch. The glitch, which affected 4 percent of T-Mobile customers, was apparently applying call forwarding charges when users checked their voicemail.
"Some T-Mobile customers wrongly received call forwarding charges when they used their voicemail. This problem has now been fixed," T-Mobile said in a statement.
"We’ll be fully refunding every customer affected by this, a process which has already begun. We’re really sorry and wholeheartedly apologise to any customers who have been affected by this issue."
T-Mobile did not provide details on the refunds, such as how they would be applied or how long it would take for all 700,000 customers to receive their money. Don't forget to check your bill to see if you were affected.

Not surprised, they send me bills for £0.80p on two consecutive months for service charges, for a mobile broadband account that was cancelled after the 2 year contract had expired, the service was cancelled and sim destroyed. It took the threat of legal action and a complaint to OFCOM, fo r them to get off their backsides and sort it out.
