Oprah hits up YouTube for some guests
Oprah Winfrey is everywhere and now she’s on YouTube.
That’s right, the talk-show host has launched her own YouTube channel which will show YouTubers exciting behind the scenes footage at the Oprah Winfrey show and interviews with people who have found fame and fortune through the website or another site on the internet.
Oprah has been hosting her chat-show for the last 22 years and at 53 shows no signs of quitting. Internet “stars” she has had as guests on the show include a skateboarding dog who originated from YouTube, a couple who re-enacted the final dance scene from Dirty Dancing (I still think he should have left Baby in the corner) and a MySpacer who managed to bag a job as P-Diddy’s personal assistant after applying for it through the site.
Oprah is the highest paid T.V. Star going and it’s no wonder, 30 million viewers everyweek in the U.S. alone. Not to mention me and the managing editor some lunchtimes. [Ahem. She makes me. -Ed]
