OCZ Dominatrix: Your New Gaming Mouse Master
It isn’t often you see bondage terms used for computer gaming peripherals, but the new OCZ Dominatrix Laser Gaming Mouse might just be worthy enough to tie you up.
The OCZ Dominatrix Laser Gaming Mouse is an ergonomically designed mouse with features OCZ says targets hardcore gamers.
This laser mouse does not yet have a published price or release date.
Highlighted features, according to the manufacturer, include letting gamers fine-tune the weight and balance of their mouse up to 40 grams, offering multiple DPI settings of 2000/1600/800/400, independently adjusting both "X & Y" axes for a combined maximum of 3200 dpi and USB 2.0 connectivity for a poll rate up to 500Hz and bi-directional connection.
Software and two programmable buttons with three different modes each for game settings and Internet navigation let you make the mouse function more to your desires. Built-in memory on the Dominatrix lets you save your mouse settings so you can take them from computer to computer.
There’s also a 4-way scrolling wheel-tilt button.
We’d also like to see cordless functions like the new Microsoft SideWinder X5 Mouse, but otherwise the Dominatrix may well become a new gaming master for some.
