O2 Launches Location-based Service to Give Customers Exclusive Deals
O2 today unveiled a new deals program for customers called Priority Moments.
Earlier this week, word got out that O2 would be revamping the loyalty program that currently allows users early access to ticket sales at O2-sponsored venues. However, while reports said that O2 would be adding a 'Best Seats' feature that would mean O2 customers get the most desirable seats in the house, it seems the carrier is hoping to do much more with what is now known as 'Priority Moments.'
Unveiled today, Priority Moments is a location-based mobile service that serves up nearby exclusive offers to customers. The company has teamed up with 30 partners, including ODEON, Harvey Nichols, WH Smith and Zizzi, and secured over 40 exclusive offers, at over 3500 high street outlets for the launch. Offers include a free Miso Soup and 1/3 off your food bill when you bring a friend to eat at Yo! Sushi (Tuesday to Sunday); 10 tickets for the price of 7 and free drink from trolley on the Gatwick Express; a free health check and two seven day guest passes at Fitness First; and half price adult and teenager tickets from Sunday to Thursday at ODEON.
Priority Moments is available as an app for iPhone and Android customers, and as a mobile website for other handsets. Text "Moments" to 2020 to access the app and be sure to check out the video below for a demo of the service.
