O2 Ireland experiences network difficulties
Yesterday, O2 Ireland experienced technical difficulties which caused a number of customers problems in sending and receiving messages and making and receiving phone calls.
A spokesperson for O2 Ireland informed us that technical issues, which arose on Thursday the 1st of November, resulted in some customers experiencing difficulties with messages and phone calls. He also informed us that the problems were intermittent and that not all customers were affected.
The company said that initial service recovery remedies were put in place at around 7pm with most customers being back up and running by 11:30pm. O2 Ireland would also like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the problems and thank everyone for their patience.
