Snakes on a plane: German company announces nude flights
Snakes on a plane is about to become a reality.
A German company will later this year launch nudist flying for, well, nudists, we suppose.
The travel company providing the service is one OssiUrlaub.de.
Head of the company Enrico Hess said that the naked flights are aimed at former East Germans who used to enjoy parading around in the nip during the nicer days of the year.
Passengers must remain clothed until the plane is in flight. They can then disrobe and “enjoy the flight as god intended”. We figure they probably have to cover up before they disembark as well. . .
For security reasons all flight crew and staff will remain fully clothed for the duration of the flight.
The first nude flights will be a day trip on July 5 between Erfurt in southeast Germany and the Baltic Sea island of Usedom, which is apparently quite a nice spot. The flight is fairly short but Hess assures potential passengers that they will enjoy about an hour of nudey-flying. He also hopes to extend naturist flying to other destinations following the maiden flight’s success.
Tickets are a tad on the expensive side a nearly five hundred euro (€499 or about £370) but we imagine it’d be well worth the money to see 50 naked people doing perfectly normal flight things like open a bag of peanuts.
