NASA invest £10m in space bog
NASA isn’t one to cut corners and the announcement of the £10m space toilet for an existing space station hasn’t really surprised anyone.
Apparently the facility in the space station currently isn’t what you’d call top-notch privacy wise and so, the delivery of the new toilet (expected to arrive at the space station in 2008) will no doubt be celebrated.
Although, the celebrations may be short-lived as we’re not so sure there’ll be happy campers on board when the crew find out that the toilet comes with a system that turns urine into drinking water . . . We, for one, would not drink out own pee. Let alone our colleagues’.
