Study shows using your mobile phone in bed is bad for your health
According to studies using your phone before bed is bad for your health. Not only that, but apparently, it’s also going to give you bad breath. Lovely.
Studies carried out at Karolinska Institute and Uppsala University in Sweden and Wayne State University in Michigan, show that using your mobile phone after you hit the hay can give you headaches, keep you awake, lower the quality of your sleep. Now, we all know what happens when you don’t get enough sleep. You get cranky and you can’t concentrate, you perform badly in your job. You know, all the bad things that aren’t supposed to happen but always do ?
The study was funded by handset manufacturers and examined the sleeping habits of 71 men and women between the ages of 18 and 45.
Results showed that the amount of radiation emitted from your mobile phone was significant enough to affect your down time.
According to the study, those exposed to the radiation took longer to enter deep sleep and got less than those who were safely tucked up without their phone.
There you go.
