Bill Gates addressed the "spam problem" in San Francisco yesterday, detailing Microsoft’s "Coordinated Spam Reduction Initiative" (CSRI) and unveiling a proposal for an e-mail sender-ID system not unlike a mobile phone’s caller ID system.
