Microsoft releases new beta of Open XML file converter for Mac

Microsoft has updated the beta version of its Microsoft Office Open XML File Format Converter for Mac. Version 0.1.1, according to Microsoft fixes and issue in the first beta, which caused the application to expire well before its intended expiration date.
Microsoft said that the software is compatible with Word Document (docx) and Word Macro-Enabled Document (docm) files.
Macros and Visual Basic content will not be included in the file created by the converter and charts as well as SmartArt graphics will be converted to pictures, Microsoft said.
