Fears that a Microsoft digital music player and service could imperil the iPod’s market dominance are overblown, according to Shaw Wu, an analyst for American Technology Research in a report on Monday.
Renewed speculation about Microsoft creating and designing an iPod-like device and an iTunes-like service has caused some to posit that Apple Computer would be in "grave danger," the analyst wrote.
