Microsoft Ireland gets new managing director
Microsoft Ireland has chosen a new Managing Director to replace the current MD, John Macri.
Don’t worry he hasn’t been fired ; Macri is moving onto bigger and better things. He’s now head of Microsoft’s business and marketing operations at the company’s Western European headquarters so for those of you who were worried about all the little Macri, you can breathe easy.
Paul Rellis is the former MD of Microsoft’s EMEA where he oversaw Microsoft’s channel partners, supply chain, finance and order management across 131 countries. Impressive.
Rellis will now be fully responsible for Microsoft’s business in Ireland and will represent the company at all kinds of big fancy meetings about important stuff.
The change over is already happening and Rellis is expected to take over operations by the 3rd of September.
