Microsoft Pulls Plans for Windows 7 Family Guy
Microsoft has scrubbed its plans to sponsor a show written by Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane.
Over the last few weeks you've aired your thoughts on the available three clips of Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show. Most of you didn't like it. Some of the clips were better than others but even that wasn't saying much. However, it turns out Microsoft didn't like the way things were shaping up, either. The company canceled plans for the show because it was not a fit with the Windows brand. And Jerry Seinfeld was? What exactly do they mean when they say it's not in line with the Windows brand?
Well apparently, the boring snippets of the show we saw were nothing compared to what Microsoft saw. We got the run of the mill stuff while the execs at Microsoft saw something that cracked jokes at the expense of deaf people, the Holocaust, feminine hygiene and incest.
"We initially chose to participate in the Seth and Alex variety show based on the audience composition and creative humor of 'Family Guy,' but after reviewing an early version of the variety show, it became clear that the content was not a fit with the Windows brand," a Microsoft spokesperson told Variety. The company spokesperson went on to say that Microsoft continues to have a good partnership with Fox, Seth MacFarlane and Alex Borstein and is working with them in other areas.
Variety goes on to say that Fox still plans to air the show but the network is now looking for a new sponsor. Any takers?

So Microsoft execs have never watched Family Guy then. Obviously they said "wow that show has big ratings and a wide demographic, so it would be cool to hitch a ride on that for some advertising".
Then they saw Stewie plan his next scheme to murder Lois or Peter do something retarded and they realised what the show really about.
Morons.
I think LePhuronn is just a big fat meanie.
Oh thank god this isnt going ahead, those preview clips were horrendous.
