Though Micron Electronics will sell off its PC business, executives promise that MicronPC's service, support and sales will not be interrupted. The company's PC business is being bought by an unnamed, privately held, information-technology investment company. Micron Electonics, with a 60 percent ownership by chipmaker Micron Technology, will concentrate on Web-hosting services.
