Fujifilm has begun offering a buffer upgrade for its 12.3-megapixel digital SLR camera FinePix S3 Pro. For $380, the memory increases from 128 MB to 256 MB and result in increased performance for continuous frame shooting. Raw format capabilities jump from three to eight continuous frames, Fujifilm promises.
The hardware upgrade also includes a "wake-up" feature for the camera’s vertical shutter release.
The FinePix S3 Pro was introduced in February of 2004 and currently retails for about $2000.
