Medal of Honor Heroes 2 to hit Wii and PSP
Los Angeles (CA) - The Wii is getting back some love from the Medal of Honor series, with a new installment slated as a next-gen console exclusive for the Nintendo console.
Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is the sequel to Medal of Honor Heroes, which came out for the PSP last October. The new addition adds the Wii to its line-up. This comes just after Electronic Arts canceled the Wii version of Medal of Honor : Airborne, which is set for release on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
On the PSP, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 will have online multiplayer support for up to 32 players. For the Wii, EA said it will feature "full support" of the Wii Zapper.
The Wii version will also be a bit more simplified, with movement through the terrain automatic. The player is left to just point and shoot in classic arcade-style fashion.
The game will be available for both platforms by the end of the year.
