Matrox Graphics is now showing off its new Matrox G550 2D/3D/DualHead/DVD graphics chip. Matrox says the chip's new HeadCasting engine was designed specifically to accelerate the 3D rendering of high-resolution, life-like human facial animations regardless of the speed of your Internet connection. The chip can also drive two fully independent digital flat panels, integrates dual CRTC's, dual UltraSharp RAMDAC's, and a TV encoder. Omid has the full story here .
