Mass Effect 2 Crowned Best Game at BAFTAs
Last night the BAFTA Video Games Awards took place at the London Hilton and Mass Effect 2 was the game that snagged the coveted Best Game title.
Last night's BAFTAs saw Mass Effect 2 beat out Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, FIFA 11, Heavy Rain, LIMBO and Super Mario Galaxy 2 to scoop the top award of the night, while God of War III won the BAFTA for artistic achievement and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood won best action game.
Peter Molyneux was also honoured last night, receiving the 2011 Academy Fellowship for his contribution to gaming. Since co-founding Bullfrog Productions in 1987 Molyneux has given us games such as Populous, Powermonger, Theme Park, Magic Carpet, Dungeon Keeper and the Fable series. Need For Speed? Best Multiplayer?
I can't help but laugh
ME2 best game? It certainly has a great story but it is a crappy shooter. Very crappy at that and planet scanning was interesting the first 30 minutes. This game is far from perfect. It felt like a good interactive movie mixed with a bad GoW rip-off. The action in ME1 was way better. I hope they come up wiyh better level design in ME3.
The action levels in ME2 were very artificial, compared with the realistic feeling in the RPG part of the game.
I loved the game and I hated it at the same time.
Well maybe the other games are worse??
"Artistic achievement:
Nominated:
Call of Duty: Black Ops"
AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAH. Excuse me while I give myself a hernia.
Some of these choices are a little odd to say the least though.
Need for speed as best multiplayer? Hell no.
Need For Speed? Best Multiplayer?

AND STARCRAFT II WAS IN THAT CATEGORY AND EVERYTHING. A happy camper I am not.
Technical innovation - CoD:BO was a nominee? How.........?
elder scroll skyrim will be 2011 game of the year
Really not sure how Just Cause 2 wasn't nominated for anything. What did you guys think of that?
Award titles leave a lot to be desired, the least they could have done was chose the best game of each type
