Wave goodbye to the white MacBook, say hello to Apple's greener computers
When someone says MacBook, white is usually the colour that comes to mind first.
Hovering about AppleInsider today we saw an interesting little piece, which caught our attention in a big way.
Iyou are in possession of a white 13” MacBook you might be interested in knowing that it’s soon to be a thing of the past.
That’s right, according to AppleInsider (who cite “people in the know” as a source) has said, come Q3 2008, the white plastic façade on the MacBook will give way to more eco friendly aircraft-grade aluminium and stainless steel.
Don’t think you’re safe if you own a MacBook Pro either.
“Similarly, the MacBook Pro is also bound for aesthetic revisions, which like their upcoming MacBook counterparts are described by those familiar with the products as borrowing several design cues from the August 2007 aluminum iMacs and all-new MacBook Air. The end result, those same people say, will be a more uniform Mac product matrix in terms of design and material usage, and a MacBook offering that will far outclass its rivals.”
We’ll be genuinely sad to see the white MacBook go to a better place.
