MSN goes green
Msn has launched an eco-friendly channel for the hippy in us all.
The site, green.msn.com, is a sort of environmental news channel which is designed to target eco-conscious surfers who want to either learn more about green issues or who are simply looking for the latest in environmental news.
The site is full of “green facts” such as, “On average 130 million are retired annually in the US alone. Only 1% of those are currently recycled.” Shocking, I know, but you cant hide from the truth. It has tips on how to live a greener life, recycling, reusing bathwater and all the those other things that are so fulfilling.
It also has a “take action” section which helps you how to determine your carbon footprint size, and then it advises you on how you can reduce it. There’s a virtual march against global warming which I can only assume involves Second Life in some way. All in all good clean fun.
