Playstation 3's Metal Gear Solid 4 won't make holiday cut
Las Vegas (NV) Konami has announced that one of the most anticipated titles for the PS3 this Christmas, Metal Gear Sold 4 : Guns of the Patriots, has been delayed all the way back to the second quarter of 2008.
The game had originally been planned for release for the 2007 holiday season, but Konami says it needs to make further improvements to the game’s depth and quality.
It will be the first Metal Gear Solid title for the PS3. The series has been one of the biggest exclusives for Sony, with three titles made specifically for the PS2.
In a statement, Konami said it "has decided to delay the title’s release in order to make further improvements to the quality of the game and provide even greater enjoyment for more customers worldwide."
