Alienware M11x to Get Optimus, New Intel CPUs
It seemed like almost as soon as the M11x was announced, people were coming up with ways to make Alienware's almost-a-gaming-netbook better. Today rumors have emerged that say the notebook could get new Intel CPUs and Nvidia's Optimus technology.
Engadget points to a couple of postings on the Notebook Review forums by someone who appears to be connected to Alienware. When someone said they'd like to see the notebook get the Optimus treatment, along with the option for Intel's newest CPUs and a better screen resolution, a poster named Darkhan responded and said everything but the improved screen resolution was coming. When pressed for a release date, Darkhan gave an end of June to mid July estimate.
Currently the 11.6-inch M11x ships with Intel's Core 2 Duo SU7300 (1.3GHz), Nvidia GT335M GPU, 4GB of DDR3 and a 160GB HDD.

I've been thinking about getting the M11x though wallet constraints have prevented me from doing so. Although it would be nice to see the original one against the newer one coming out.
Though does it really have a bad resolution for an 11"?
