Philippine authorities released a man suspected of creating the Love Bug computer worm, saying they do not have enough evidence yet to charge him with the attack.
Reonel Ramones, a 27-year-old bank employee, was arrested Monday after investigators traced the origin of the virus to the apartment where he lived with his girlfriend.
Police suspect as many as ten people could be involved in the spread of the virus, which along with its variants has caused an estimated $5 billion in damages.
