Still no projected release date, though.
We first spied the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga at CES Las Vegas earlier this year. What we saw was impressive enough to snag it one of our Best of CES awards, and we've been eagerly looking for any more information on the little convertible notebook ever since. Today, Lenovo released UK price details for the IdeaPad Yoga.
We already know the IdeaPad boasts an Intel Core processor, Windows 8, up to 8 GB of RAM, and up to a 256 GB SSD, but we didn't know until today how much this little Ultrabook would cost when it launched. Today Lenovo announced that the notebook would go on sale starting just shy of £1200. Though the company was more than happy to dish up the price for this machine, we still don't know when it's going to hit shops. Still, it looks like things are moving along quite nicely for the IdeaPad Yoga, and it was originally scheduled for sometime in the second half of this year, so we'd start saving the pennies now if you were planning on getting one.
For those that missed this one at CES, the IdeaPad Yoga is a 13.3-inch convertible Ultrabook with a unique 360-degree flip-and-fold design. It measures just 0.76-inches thick, weighs 3.1 lbs and packs a soft touch rubber paint on the exterior for strong grip, a leather cover on the palm rest, and side buttons designed for ease of use across the range of usage.
