Lacie intros 4 TB 4-disk RAID
Lacie today announced the "Biggest Quadra", a 4-disk RAID enclosure with up to 4 TB of storage space. The device has been designed to appeal to workstation users and supports RAID levels 0, 0+1, 5 as well as 5 + hot spare. The Biggest Quadra is scheduled to ship in September for retail prices of £548(€810) for a 2 TB version ; the 3 TB model will sell for £796(€1178) and the 4 TB model for £1096(€1620).
