Industry executives agree that despite the state of the US economy, the North America TV market remains robust so far, as evidenced by first-quarter 2008 shipments exceeding targets by 7% with 7.5 million units shipped, according to DisplaySearch. The state of the North American TV industry was one of the topics covered at DisplaySearch’s Second Annual TV Supply Chain Conference, which was held in San Diego earlier this month.
