Kingston Technology, the world’s top third-party DRAM module maker, has informed ProMOS Technologies and Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC) that it is willing to purchase additional capacity for DDR chips if the makers’ migration to DDR2 chip production is not going smoothly, according to DRAM module makers.
