Kevin Smith has been confirmed as a host for Macworld 2010, which takes place this coming February.
Author, actor, producer and director of Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma will be hosting a Questions and Answers presentation session Macword 2010, the expo today revealed.In his presentation, Smith will share his perspectives on storytelling, the film industry, the use of technology to create great art and what it takes to survive in the world of independent filmmaking.
"Can't wait to talk to this crowd again, as we share a common passion,” Kevin Smith said in a statement. “I identify straight, but I'm gay for Mac. However, let's be honest: I'm coming back to Macworld for all that free stuff."
Also confirmed for the expo is the New York Time's David Pogue and technology guru, Leo Laporte.
