[CeBIT 2008] - Wireless Presentations

ATEN promises us a revolution in the conference room. Its KE8220 Virtual VNC Console is supposed to let users manage presentations on several PCs or laptops.

At its CeBIT presence in Hall 12, ATEN is presenting a system that will let users sitting at different PCs or notebooks take an active part in presentations or live conferences. The wireless presentation system, dubbed KE8220 Virtual VNC Console, upgrades existing projectors in such a way that it creates a wireless conferencing environment for multiple systems.

The device allows multiple presenters in the same room to output their PowerPoint presentations, images or other applications to a projector, LCD panel, monitors or other display devices with a standard VGA input without any wires using WiFi. ATEN’s Virtual VNC Console comes with a wireless USB adapter that can be stored inside the case when it is not needed. last but not least, even remote participants are meant to receive the data in real-time via LAN or over the web

The KE8220 is compatible with all current versions of Windows including Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP and of course Windows Vista. The device is available immediately at a recommended retail price of €399.
