Dell Inspiron R Line Gets Core i3/i5 and Intel WiDi
The summer has barely begun but already the team at Dell is reminding students that back-to-school season is only just around the corner.
This past weekend Dell announced that its new Inspiron R laptops are making their way to the U.S. in time for back-to-school shopping. Already available in other parts of the world, the Inspiron R comes in 14-, 15-, and 17-inch flavors and packs options for Intel's Core i3 or i5 mobile CPUs; HD displays across the board; up to 1GB for ATI graphics; up to 8GB of DDR3; up to 640GB of HDD storage; integrated webcam; and a dedicated number pad on the 15- and 17-inch models.
Available in Mars Black, Peacock Blue, Tomato Red or Lotus Pink, pricing starts at $449 (available through Fry's from June 25), but you can expect that to jump quite a bit once you start customizing for better specs.

Mars black? Isn't Mars red?
Mars black? Isn't Mars red?
Maybe they're talking about the chocolate's wrapping
AH! How amateur of me!
Imagine naming a computer after a planet, when there's a chocolate of the same name...
