The first video shows the newest Full-HD TVs with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. HD-Ready units with 1368 x 768 are already yesterday’s news, even if their current pricing makes them more attractive and most TV stations aren’t broadcasting at Full-HD resolution.
Only design will be able to conquer the digital living room – at least this is what the big companies seem to believe, with Samsung, Sharp, Panasonic, LG Electronics and Toshiba leading the charge. If nothing else, design helps sell expensive devices – or it can command a premium.
