Win a $400 New Egg Gift Card or an Eee PC
Most of us have used Internet Explorer at some point in our computing lives. Even if it was just to download Firefox. However, the browser has come a long way and Internet Explorer today is a completely different browser that the one Microsoft first offered in the mid-nineties. With that in mind, have you tried the latest version? Because that’s really all you need to do to win.
Just to be clear, you don’t have to be an Internet Explorer 8 user to enter or win, but you do have to give it a shot. Visit the contest page by clicking here and the rest easy. We’d advice interested parties to get their entries in quick. The contest is only open to 10,000 people and will operate on a first come, first served basis.
So what are you waiting for? CLICK HERE to enter!
Not into contests? Here are links to all the other major browsers available for download:

Another US only competition on a UK site.....
I live in the United Kingdom, a small backwater island that ISN'T the U S of A. Indeed, everybody reading this lives in the United Kingdom as well: why else would you visit the .co.uk version of the site? So, we enjoy being told stuff happening in THE UNITED KINGDOM.
as above - this is annoying!
Another great example of why tom's UK doesn't REALLY exist. I'm thinking of giving up on toms and moving to http://www.bit-tech.net/. This is just ridiculous.
Tom's Hardware UK - fail
Yup. Can't Tom's at least employ a UK editor so there is a least a little co-ordination... Having recycled news stories is bad enough but slightly understandable, but an error as glaring as this (and it's not the first time) is pretty poor. If I made an error as obvious as this at work I'd be fired...
@mi1ez - oh didn't know about that site. - see you there.
