HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Gets Priced for UK
HTC's newest phone packs some serious Beats.
It hasn't been long since HTC announced plans to collaborate with Beats by Dre to bring Beats audio to HTC smartphones, but we already have a UK launch date for the first Beats phone. Both Clove and Phones4U have the HTC Sensation XE launching next month, with Phones4U listing it as available from October 1 and Clove launching it one week later on October 7.
The HTC Sensation XE was unveiled by HTC in Taiwan earlier today and boasts a 1.5-GHz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM, a 4.3-inch qHD display, up to 16GB of storage via microSD card, an 8-megapixel camera, 1080p HD video recording, and Android 3.0. If that's not enough to tickle your fancy, the phone also comes with a pair of Monster Beats by Dre in-ear headphones. When these earbuds are used with the HTC Sensation XE, the phone will automatically switch to the custom Beats by Dr. Dre sound profile, delivering audio tracks tuned specifically for the headphones.
"Audio is a crucial part of any consumer's mobile experience and we are continually pushing the audio boundaries to encompass not only improved voice but music, movies and games," said Jason Mackenzie, president of global sales and marketing at HTC. "The HTC Sensation XE offers a truly incredible experience that demonstrates our commitment to place consumers at the center of their mobile worlds."
TechRadar reports that the phone is ringing in at £492 off-contract at Clove, or on contract from Phones4U at £36 per month.

Looks nice. Hopefully they bring in a WP7 version
Nice!
But...How big is the internal storage capacity for ROM, cache, davlik-cache, and available space for apps?
Sh*t, it's only 1GB...I was hoping for at least double...
£492 wtf?
