Taiwanese handset manufacturer HTC has sent out invitations to an event set for February 19 in New York. The event itself is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. PT (10 a.m. ET) and there will also be a simultaneous HTC event held in London. Rumors suggest HTC will use the event to unveil the M7, which is supposedly going to be HTC's flagship, high-end smartphone for 2013.
The HTC M7, which was lately showcased in an official render, is said to be powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and a 2300mAH battery. Also expected to be included is the new Sense 5.0 UI, while the operating system of choice is expected to be Jelly Bean.
