HTC EVO 3D is Hitting the UK Next Month
The EVO 3D is coming to the UK next month.
Back in March, at CTIA Wireless in Florida, U.S. carrier Sprint and HTC showed off the monstrous HTC EVO 3D, a superphone packing a dual-core Snapdragon (clocked to 1.2GHz), a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D display, dual 5-megapixel cameras and support for Sprint’s WiMAX network. However, though there was plenty of EVO 3D talk for the States, HTC didn’t make a peep about European availability. A few days later, the device was confirmed for a European launch by HTC France, but details of its arrival in the UK were still foggy.
Today, we bring you good news. HTC today revealed that the EVO 3D will be 'broadly available in Europe' starting July and, according to a post over on TechRadar, the UK will be included in that July release. Price-wise, there's not a whole lot to report. HTC hasn't said anything official, but those of you looking to snag one SIM-free can probably expect to pay the usual -- around £500.
We'll keep you posted when we hear more specific information regarding price and release date.
