HP’s new Unix version includes long-promised virtualisation technology, called Virtual Partitions, or vPars.
From July, a patch release for the HP-UX 11iv2 OS will let users install more than one copy on their Integrity servers, a feature that’s been available for HP 9000 servers for years. This bring the gap between Infinity and the HP 9000 much closer.
