It’s been a long time coming. But finally, one of the major players in the PC business has made a serious stab at producing a multi-purpose home media PC with a truly innovative control interface. We give you the HP IQ770.
In broad terms, the IQ770 is an all-in-one system designed to be a communal media and internet PC for all the family. It’s a one stop digital shop for internet, TV, radio, movies, music and general entertainment. HP has even pitched it as a virtual replacement for those chaotic kitchen message boards, notes pinned to the fridge and shared family calendars.
It’s the sort of system, in other words, that might make a lot of sense in a kitchen or family room.
