Kobe Bryant, Tony Hawk, A-Rod, Michael Phelps Team Up for Guitar Hero
There’s no doubt that Guitar Hero is one of the biggest brands in video games today — so big, in fact, that Kobe Bryant, Tony Hawk, Alexander Rodriguez and Michael Phelps all took part in a TV spot advertising Guitar Hero : World Tour.

While the entire Guitar Hero franchise is one of Activision Blizzard’s top earners (and mostly thanks to word of mouth), the game publisher definitely pulled out the big checks to hire these big name athletes to promote a game that will likely sell well regardless of marketing.
