Due to its use of deferred rendering, the STALKER 3D Engine only allows the activation of an antialiasing based on shaders. In the end, it’s not really convincing and it’s difficult to enable because of the performance level which is quite low without, thus it’s almost negligible here.

STALKER is less favourable to the 8800 GTS 512 than most of the other games. In this case, the GTX maintains a clear lead (comprised by between 9 and 12 %) in all resolutions. In regards to the superiority of the 8800 GTS over the 8800 GT, we find again the 15 % value which seems to be the norm between those two cards.

OK more tweaking around the ages... Like whatever...

We need a 9xxx series card with 1Gb DDR4 RAM like yesterday please Nvidia!!

Yeah it is about time we seen a card faster than the gtx, I'm hardly excited that a year later the new cards are "almost" as fast as the gtx

Interesting. Soon they'll unleash the 9 series on us and boost their popularity again. All this feels like the build up to it.

You want to talk about rendering, just get the 8800GTX or Ultra, download the Human Head program and pick up your Jaw after it drops in aw, LOL!

P.S. I've heard you can run this program on the 8600 Cards as well but the F/R's aren't as good as the 8800 series.
