Ouch! Enabling antialiasing under Oblivion is a catastrophe for the 8800 GT 256 MB, so much so that this filter shouldn’t even be considered! It’s surprising, as neither the Radeon HD 3850 nor the GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB display such counter-performances (except the GTS 320 MB but only in 1920*1440 and to a lesser extent). It’s sad because enabling antialiasing is almost compulsory in this game.
Apart from that, the 8800 GT 256 MB displays, once again, very good performances, somewhere between a HD 3870 and a 8800 GT 512 MB. An important choice must be made here…
