GameStop Launches iPhone for Xbox Trade-in Program

Apple has just launched a brand new iPhone, which means there is probably quite a few iPhone owners itching to upgrade to the latest model. In what looks like an effort to cash in on their desires, GameStop has just launched a week-long trade-in program that offers customers trading in their iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS an Xbox 360 for as little as £10.
In a press release sent out today, GameStop says that customers who purchase an Xbox 360 250GB on www.gamestop.co.uk between today and 30 Novemeber will be sent their new console and a postage pre-paid addressed trade-in envelope. Customers will then have 10 days (from their purchase date) to send their iPhone to GameStop and avail of the special offer. Upon receipt, GameStop will refund the customer's credit or debit card with the trade-in value of their iPhone. The trade-in values for the various different models of iPhone are as follows:
- Get an Xbox 360 for £10 when you trade in your iPhone 4 32GB
- Get an Xbox 360 for £20 when you trade in your iPhone 4 16GB
- Get an Xbox 360 for £25 when you trade in your iPhone 3GS 32GB
- Get an Xbox 360 for £40 when you trade in your iPhone 3GS 16GB
- Get an Xbox 360 for £60 when you trade in your iPhone 3GS 8GB
