GamersGate and THQ publishing finally annouce partnership
GamersGate and THQ publishing yesterday finally announced that the two would team up to broaden the already extensive GamersGate download library, a deal we suspected was in the works not too long ago.
GamersGate already boasts a catalogue of over 230 games across more than 35 different publishers. The addition of THQ to this long list means GamersGate can add worldwide access, excluding Australia and New Zealand, to Company of Heroes : Opposing Fronts and Supreme Commander : Forged Alliance as well as the original titles Company of Heroes and Supreme Commander.
In addition, several catalogue titles like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Shadow of Chernobyl and Full Spectrum Warrior will be made available on the platform as well as recently released Juiced 2 : Hot Import Nights and upcoming Frontlines : Fuels of War.
CEO of GamersGate, Theodore Bergquist, said "We are delighted to offer our global network of customers this premium portfolio from THQ. Our growing range of quality games as well as our accessibility and technical platform has made us a front-runner in the digital distribution arena and an attractive choice for PC gamers worldwide."
